First Swim!!!!

Sean's Bakersfield BBQ

Luke's family put together a great welcome BBQ for his first trip to Bakersfield. It was really hot, but the food was good and the company even better. Sean got to meet his cousins, aunts, uncles, and great-grandparents. He even got to meet his middle-namesake Eric :)

California Trip

We are home from our annual summer trip home to Cali. We had so much fun, and Sean has lots of firsts. . .first time swimming, meeting grandparents and great-grandparents, rolling over (this is up for debate), seeing the ocean, feeling sand, and first time to the ranch. Here are some great pics of our trip's highlights :)
First up is Sean's first visit to our favorite place in the world- Mendocino.

Swing Love Affair

Sean loves his swing. Really. Oh, and I promise once I finished taking this I picked him up. I did not leave him crying in his swing. . .or did I??? Nanny Bea and Papa John, this is especially for you. Let me explain: When Luke's grandparents came to visit Sean was an angel. The moment they set foot in our house dear Sean would be very quiet and sweet. Just perfect. When we went out to dinner he would peacefully sleep. More than one person commented on what a well behaved baby we have. Because of this, Luke's grandparents are convinced that Sean is a perfect baby and never cries. I, of course, know otherwise. So I promised to take a short video of him crying and post it here for them to see and hear. Here it is-
